Belgium, here we come!!Perry and I are moving to Belgium. Yep, Belgium, the land of chocolate. The purpose of this blog is to enable me to keep family and friends up-to-date with events over the next three years. I’m starting by blogging the process of getting there. For us, it involves selling our house, finding a place to live in Belgium, packing/storing our stuff, and then, finally, flying there.
We had our first meeting with the Relocation Specialist this past week. There is an amazing amount of paperwork to complete. Document after document. I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say, many trees have been sacrificed!! My goal this week (while Perry is in Rome) is to pull together some house documents and start the process for a green passport.
Tis the season for paperwork and green passports. A friend of mine (actually I know about 4 families) who are doing the international thing... and they are all in the midst of paperwork!!
